In 1999 when we did the last Asset Survey, our students had an average of 19.1. We will survey again in November 2001. As part of the measurement of school climate, we have been tracking dropout rate and attendance rates.
In 1997-98 we had a 16.9% dorp out rate at Scio High School. For the 1999-2000 our dropout rate was 2.5%. 2.5% was the lowest recorded rate in the Linn/Benton/Lincoln Counties. We estimate the dropout rate for the 2000-2001 school year will be 2%.
In the 1998-1999 school year our attendance rate was 91.1%. For the 1999-2000 school year it was 92.8% .
