P.A.C.E.
– Stands for Promoting Accelerated College Entry and is a pilot project
implemented in partnership with the Oregon Department of Education, Linn Benton
Community College, Chemeketa Community College, The Department of Community
Colleges and Workforce Development. Students in the PACE program may attend Scio High School for three or more years and then attend a community college of their choice potentially graduating with an Advanced Diploma from Scio High School and ahead of their cohort for an Associates Degree. The Scio School District provides bus transportation to LBCC tuition and books, the student pays for supplies and specialty equipment. The minimum entry requirements into the program are a 3.0 High School GPA and completion of their CIM requirements. We have divided our information into three areas so that we can better disseminate the information . |
